Explorace for Eqa

After having a bad week, Alhamdulillah, I finally met Eqa yesterday. Eqa and I were roommates back in 2013 at Ramsgate for an exchange student program. That`s precisely how we got to know each other and how we became closer than ever. We haven`t met each other since KLIA separated us! That is equals to one and a half year.

I was praying that Allah would ease our meeting everyday since I got to know  Eqa`s coming to town. Really, I was. Thrilled, because I`ve missed her so much. We`ve only been in contact through whatsapp and skype. Amazingly last year, we celebrated New Year`s Eve on skype with Aisya and Illya. Masing-masing dekat negeri masing-masing. We were far from each other, but distance wasn`t a problem.  

 Okay, meh nak cerita apa jadi semalam. Alert !: Random pics of us everywhere in the post.

Yesterday, was supposedly the day that Eqa goes to Old Trafford for she is the #1 fan of Manchester United. She also told me that she flew 14 hours from Malaysia to go to Manchester and as well as to see me. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the tour trip, masalah teknikal ke apa ke idk man, she and the whole clan couldn`t visit the stadium. Dah la kawan tak dapat nak pi Manchester, pastu kena pi Chelsea hahahaaha and she sulked the whole day because they had to go to Chelsea and for that, our meeting was delayed. 

On my side of the story, I had to follow dad in the morning to work. I really don`t mind waiting for Eqa because I have no plans for the day. It was totally booked for her heheehehe but kita ni hanya mampu merancang, Allah sahaja yang menentukan, en? So tak jadi jumpa during lunch, jumpa lah lepas Asar. I basically waited for her the whole day, but I dont mind sebab firstly nak jumpa Eqa kottt. Secondly, tunggu kat office papa tu tak buang masa because Alhamdulillah I spent the day calling and applying for colleges ( which was fun to do because I felt like I was the one working in such an office , lol berangan je )

Pastuuuu, when Eqa called and said that she reached the central mosque for Asar prayers, my dad and I headed to the malaysian hall canteen for tea time. Twenty minutes later, I got a call from Eqa saying she was already in Bayswater depan kedai Halal. Hahahaha I punya lah excited because I knew exactly where she was since I always go there too. 

I walked from Malaysia Hall using my google map on the phone. Sebenanya, papa dah bagi instructions dah. Kita, degil , tak dengar betul-betul. 

"Keluar je canteen, amik kiri, pastu kiri lagi, pastu straight je, pastu selang dua lorong jumpa ah dia. Thats like 4 mins walk je babe"

" Okay, Pa. Got it "

Dengan poyonya. 

Yang sebenarnya.

Lepas amik kuih nak pass dekat Eqa, semangat ah pi jumpa dad and keluar canteen pastu gi cari Eqa using google map. Ye la, kita bajet nak mampus, b a j e t dah kenal jalan apa semua sebab selalu pegi, tapi bodoh sombong tak ikut what my dad said. Sebab lupa sebenanya. Ikut lah google map. search lah Bayswater road. Pastu, tah kemana-mana tah dia bawak kita. Dah 15 minutes jalan, tetiba bisikan hati kata 

"Asal jauh doh. Bukan Bayswater dekat je ke dengan Queensborough Terrace? Confirm dah aku sesat ni"

Jalan je lah kan. Even dah tau sesat. Ikut je lah google map tu. tetiba sampai Lancaster Station. That was exactly the point where I knew, I have a LONG way to go. Babun hahahahaa

Dari station tu nak pi Queensborough tu babe is like 10 mins walk babe. For mat salleh la. For an unfit teenage girl like me, might be twice of that period hahahaha pastuuuu, berlari berkejaran tenenenenet *lagu Sharifah Aini on play* lah iiiiiii. I knew I had little time and waktu tu dah pukul 5.05pm. Rasa macammmmmm " AAAAAAA Bazir nya masa aku I should`ve listen carefully to the instructions! I`ve lost a lot of time with Eqa ya Allah " Masa tu dah tak fikir apa, lantak lah if I weren`t in my jogging outfit, lantaklah lari sekuat hati ah. nasib tak accident je. Allah nak protect. kan? Positive la sikit.

Tengah2 lari tu, rajin pulak si Eqa ni call. Update dok tanya 

"Where are you?? "

"Kejap ehhh, i tengah jalan ni. I kat Lancaster Station"

Tengok tu, ego. Taknak bagitau diri sendiri dah sesat. Ego lahaiiii. Ibrah : Tolong lah rendah2kan ego awak tu, tak kemana pun. Macam cerita ni lah.

So lari lari lari lari lari, lantak lah orang nak usha ke apa, I put on lagu Senyum by Aziz Harun sebab baru download from whatsapp blok 5 hahahaa bayangkan cuba nak senyum tengah lari. Nak relaxkan hati je sebenanya sakit hati sesat jalan. Rasa nak marah diri sendiri. 

Pastu pendekkan cerita, jumpa Eqa finally !! Sampai-sampai, sorang hamba Allah ni kata bas dah nak sampai. Hahahahahahahhhahahha siapa tak bengang. I was like, ok, takpa, whatever is left, we need to spend! Rasa macam nak tarik je Eqa and bawak dia gi coffee shop and terus gi park. Pastu, takpalah, jumpa2 dengan family dia apa semua, ( yay jumpa Faeq ) pastu berlari gak ah gi coffee shop, Eqa got her drink, and I just knew I had no time for one, pastu berlari langgar traffic light untuk cross the road nak pegi souvenir shop nak beli friendship bracelet. LOL, memang takdalah. Should`ve asked Eqa to buy us one before she came here. 

Last2 I belikan dia souvenir. Masa masuk kedai souvenir tu pulak, ada la sorang nice Indian acik who was Alhamdulillah, very very friendly ! Overly friendly! Macam2 babe dia interview kitorang.

"Are you studying here?"

"No, she`s with her family and will be studying here soon", Eqa tolong jawab. Aku dah tak leh breathe dah.

"Ohhhh, so today`s girls out dayyy! You go out from the house, yea? and you meet your friend yea? And have lots of fun yea?" pebenda tah lagi dia cakap.

"Yes, miss we were ! Thank you for the discounts !" aku dah nak cepat ni.

"No problem dear, no problem. So you registered for the nationality here? How long are you going to stay here?"

Gelak-gelak dengan Eqa sambil tercakap kat Eqa 

"Hahahahahahahhhahaha banyak pulak cakap acik ni hahahahahhahahahha" sorry la acik. Kitorang nak cepat serious mana ada orang jumpa dalam masa 20 minit je sumpah tak cukup. Si Eqa pulak tak tahan gelak keluar kedai, and laughed her ass off. Dari dalam kedai aku dengar hahahaha what an experience.  

 " What is so funny ? Why is she laughing like that?? "

So dah jawab semua kehendak soalan acik tu, dia pun masukkanlah duit dalam cash register, and gave my change and she still wanted our conversation to go on. Bagus acik ni. Susah nak cari ! Pastu, I went,

"Okay ah aunty! We`ve got to run ah. Thank you, it was nice meeting you! Thank you, Murah Murah" sebab Murah je yang aunty tu faham sejak dia tahu kitorang dari Malaysia. 

Berlarilah kami berdua ke Hyde Park. Allahuakbar nak cari bench pun susah. Nak amik gambar jeeee. Sebab bila lagi nak amik gambar dengan my babe *inserts crying emoticons*

Alhamdulillah, dapat jugak a few shots with her. Pastu en, kitorang record ah video nak hantar dekat Aisya and Illya, pastu I was like " Hiiiiiii " kuat gak ah. Sebab I dont really mind dah sebenanya sebab everyone at the park were busy with their dogs, their music in their ears, their jog metres, their jog partners, so why not kan cakap je la random mana pun. Tetiba the second I intro-ed the video, a group of guys jogged in front of us and one of them replied my Hi hahahahahahaha yang tu sumpah the best-awkward moment ever. You`ll see :

So yes, emm pastu kitorang had to go back to her family kat jalan yang kitorang jumpa tadi, pastuuu berlari jugak lah of course hahaha on the way tu, jumpa la pulak a group of tong sampah (hotties) pastu Eqa dared me to go and take a photo with them and since they were smoking, I had a good reason to reject the dare hewhew. Pastu dalam nak cepat tu jugak, jumpa lagi dua hotties, and they were busy actually baru keluar from a shop busy buat apa? Busy counting coins hahahaha macam tengah bahagi2 duit sebenanya. I dared Eqa to take photos with them as well, and Eqa pun pandai. She had her own good reason to reject my dare! Dah stop berlari kot. Kita semangat ah tengok Eqa nak get the dare done, tetiba she said

"Diorang macam busy je counting coins" 

and I was like, 

"Macam dalam P.Ramlee pulak, sorang tu macam  '1 untuk engkau, 1 untuk aku, 2 untuk engkau, 2 untuk aku. 3 untuk engkau, 3 untuk aku. Lepas tiga berapa??' l o l"

Sabar je la. Lepas tak jadi, lari straight to her family and we had this one last shot together tapi taktau Eqa tekan ke tak camera tu sebab nak cepat. It was time to say goodbye. pastu, familynya dah jalan depan dulu followed by Eqa dengan Faeq. Pastu, I ran to them and both of them looked back looking like " Ya, boleh kami bantu? " kind of face. And I gave that "Nak ikutttt" expression. 

The end. Rindu doh Eqa. It was the fastest meeting ever. Explorace again. Just like how we met each other on our first day in Ramsgate. yang tu betul2 main explorace ada job, ada mission, ada time limit. Even though both of us had an aggravating day, but we were so glad to see each other`s faces, Alhamdulillah heeeeee.

Apa function cerita semua ni?

Nak ingatkan kat semua orang Allah itu Maha Adil. 

Ya la, Eqa bengang tak dapat pi Manchester, I bengang sebab banyak waste time nak dekat setengah jam padahal 2-3 min je jalan dari canteen. I tunggu Eqa the whole day, pastu Eqa kena tunggu I jugak sesat tahpape. Adil en? Allah lah tu yang menentukan *wink*wink*
